More About Apurinã Rapé | Awiry
The Apurinã tribe make their famous green Rapé from a plant called Awiry. This rapé is made using only Awiry and is considered to be living and is raw. They dry the leafs, pound them and sieve the powder. It doesn’t contain tobacco. Because the Awiry grows close to the river, this Rapé can only be made in the dry season when the river is low and for that reason is quite rare and very special.
