The Shawadawa people’s primary mission today is protecting their lands and the forest, where all their natural medicines and cultural heritage are preserved. The teachings of their ancestors and the use of their sacred medicines, including traditional Shawãdawa Hapé hapé, are central to their identity, providing both spiritual strength and a deep connection to ancestral roots.
